Performance and Well-being Psychology

Better in Character, Better in Craft
As a performance psychologist, I support people in optimising their performance and well-being through the development of self and psychological skills. Performance of any kind requires meeting the mental demands of the challenge to perform at your best. This starts with performance of the mind before you step on the field, the court, in the workplace or in the gym.
It’s a mindset thing.

Testimonials
Over the last 6 months. Everyone has enjoyed the experience and the feedback from the athletes has been extremely positive. Natasha is professional in her planning and excellent in her delivery. Alongside steering her sessions with great control she also allows the athletes plenty of time to reflect and feedback. I have also learned from our sessions and they have indeed made me reflect on my own coaching practice. I would wholeheartedly recommend Natasha to anyone interested in developing their mental skills and strengths. We look forward to continuing our work together in the build up to Birmingham Commonwealth Games and the Paris Olympic Games.
Head Coach- Camberley Judo Club Elite Team
The three workshops you have delivered to the young boxers on the England Boxing programme where very good. They were clear. well thought out, engaging and I received very positive feedback from all the boxers. Your presentations were to a very high standard throughout and I was impressed with how you catered each workshop to a sport you were not that familiar with. Great job and looking forward to the next one.
Lead Coach England Boxing
I would highly recommend working with Natasha. Playing rugby, keeping fit and working in a fast paced and challenging environment means I am balancing my health and fitness on a daily basis, to be able to show up the best I can for my colleagues, client and team mates. Since working with Natasha, I have been able to significantly improve my awareness and my behaviour and work on action plans to further reach my goals.
“Beth”- Health and Exercise
Natasha is our sports psychologist for athletes in our sporting programme. The initial online workshops last year received great feedback, and her work with our athletes is helping them significantly reach their potential. Her easy to understand terminology for students and presentation style is in a great benefit to working with her. I’m excited to see what the new year brings!
University of Westminster
Natasha was professional, well prepared and very informative. She balanced the work with clients perfectly, being aware of their needs whilst pushing them to ask questions and be reflective. I was particularly impressed by metaphors and examples she provided to explain ideas.
Voluntary Action Coventry
Natasha is very friendly and easy to talk to. I’ve only had four sessions but I can already see a change in my thinking pattern, even just talking about my problems help. I am very happy with everything so far
“Louise”- Youth Netball Athlete
This was an introductory session to Sport Psychology and as the Team Manager I felt that it definitely hit the mark with the squad members. There was a clear rationale for all aspects of the session and there was plenty of challenge and stimulation for everyone involved. All the players have now been asked to reflect and then report back to the Team Manager as to how the next session will be set up. Natasha was first class- right from the initial phone call through to the actual delivery of the session,. I was connected throughout and had a clear idea of what was going to tale place
Team Manager- Warwickshire Women’s County Bowling Association
Throughout the evening Natasha was extremely well prepared, very knowledgeable about her subject matter but at the same time extremely engaging and approachable. In a room that contained several ladies who are twice her age she was able to convey all of the messages they needed and wanted to hear which, says everything about the way she is able to present. In addition she has provided follow up information from both the sessions that the ladies can continue to refer to and work with. I wholeheartedly endorse Natasha to anyone who is thinking about using Sports Psychology to help both on an individual basis or team basis – it can make a massive difference to the mindset that is needed to enable people to work at their optimal level and in turn give the relevant tools to empower them to succeed”.
Team Manager- Warwickshire Women’s County Bowling Association
The quality and effectiveness was great, but perhaps the only area of improvement would be to know more about the sport initially. However, Natasha showed interest in the sport and applied her techniques to suit the sport once I had explained it. I feel more relaxed and organised, so I am able to enjoy the sport more. I am able to remain mindful and more positive about everything that I am doing, both when competing and training.
“Claudia”- Equestrian Athlete
I have a more positive attitude. I feel a lot more calm when competing and that I can use my mind to stay more focused. I am more in control of my thoughts. I am closer to reaching my full potential when competing, I am able to be more positive in and out of my sport, making me more content in general. I have gotten my best result to date and I feel the psychology sessions have been a big part of it
